- What is Forward CRM?
- Forward is a personal CRM for solo operators, founders, and anyone running a one-person revenue motion. AI Note turns raw thoughts into structured contacts, deals, tasks, and activity entries — automatically.
- Do I need to enter payment details to try it?
No. Every signup starts on the Free plan and stays there until you choose otherwise — there is no trial, no countdown, and no expiry. You get the whole CRM: contacts, deals, pipelines, notes, tasks and search, with unlimited contacts and deals.
What the paid plans add is connecting your inbox, and higher daily limits. You only enter payment details if you decide to move to one.
- What's the difference between Free and paid?
- Free gives you the whole CRM with 25 AI actions a day and unlimited tasks. Solo ($29/mo) and Pro ($59/mo) make AI Notes unlimited — write or dictate as much as you like — raise the allowance for everything else, and add email sync, which is a paid-only feature. Nothing is deleted if you stay on Free or move back to it.
- What counts as an AI action?
An AI action is one piece of work Forward does for you. Reading a note you wrote and turning it into contacts and follow-ups is one. Building a contact from a photo of a business card is one. Suggesting a task from an email is one. So is a daily check on who's gone quiet.
Things you do yourself never count. Searching, editing, adding a contact by hand, moving a deal, reading your history — all free, always, on every plan.
The free plan includes 25 a day. On paid plans AI Notes don't count at all — they're unlimited. Most people use a handful.
- How do I sign in?
- Sign in with Microsoft, Google, or Apple in one tap, or use an email address and password. If you'd rather not type a password every time, you can set a short PIN in settings.
- What are credits?
- If you run out of AI actions for the day, credits cover the difference. You buy them once, they don't expire, and they're only used after your daily allowance is gone. Nothing is ever charged automatically — you turn them on yourself.
- How do credits work?
- Credits top up any plan, including Free. $5 buys 20 tokens. By default Forward asks before spending a credit (with a 'don't ask again today' option), and there's a toggle in Settings → Billing to auto-spend silently.
- Can I import my existing contacts?
- Yes — paste a list into AI Note and the AI will propose contact rows you can review and accept in one tap. CSV import is on the roadmap.
- Is there a phone app?
Yes, though you won't find it in the App Store. Forward runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens with its own icon, full screen, exactly like an installed app. No download, no updates to install, and it takes about ten seconds.
iPhone or iPad: open forwardcrm.live in Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom, scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Android: open forwardcrm.live in Chrome, tap the three dots in the top right, and tap Install app or Add to home screen.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Your data is walled off from every other account at the database level. Only your login can read or write it. We do not sell data and we do not train AI models on your content.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing in one click. You keep access until the end of the billing period, then drop to Free.
- How is Forward different from HubSpot or Pipedrive?
- Those are CRMs for sales teams of 50, they charge for every person you add, and require hours of setup. Forward is built for one operator, costs one flat fee, and gets you to a populated workspace in 30 seconds via AI Note.
