Forward
FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is Forward CRM?
Forward is a personal CRM for solo operators, founders, and anyone running a one-person revenue motion. The Notepad turns raw thoughts into structured contacts, deals, tasks, and activity entries — automatically.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. Every signup starts with a 14-day trial of unlimited AI. You only enter card details if you decide to keep going on a paid plan.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You drop to the Free plan (3 AI actions and 10 tasks per day) unless you pick Basic ($20/mo) or Pro ($60/mo). All your data stays — nothing is deleted.
What counts as an AI action?
One AI action = one token: processing a Notepad entry, creating a smart task, an AI tag suggestion, a call check-up, or an insights refresh. Reads, manual edits, contacts, deals, log entries, and global search are always free.
How do credits work?
Credits top up any plan, including Free. $5 buys 20 tokens. By default Forward asks before spending a credit (with a 'don't ask again today' option), and there's a toggle in Settings → Billing to auto-spend silently.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes — paste a list into the Notepad and the AI will propose contact rows you can review and accept in one tap. CSV import is on the roadmap.
Does Forward work on mobile?
Yes. Forward is a Progressive Web App. Open it on iOS or Android, tap 'Add to Home Screen', and it behaves like a native app — push notifications included.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data lives in your own row-level-secured workspace. Only your account can read or write it. We do not sell data and we do not train AI models on your content.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing in one click. You keep access until the end of the billing period, then drop to Free.
How is Forward different from HubSpot or Pipedrive?
Those are CRMs for sales teams of 50, priced per seat, and require hours of setup. Forward is built for one operator, costs one flat fee, and gets you to a populated workspace in 30 seconds via the Notepad.
