Affordable, powerful, and not built for a 400-person sales floor

Enterprise CRMs price for procurement and design for admins. Forward prices for one person and designs for the ten minutes you actually have.

There's a strange gap in the CRM market. On one end, contact-manager apps that are pleasant but can't hold a deal. On the other, enterprise platforms with everything — territory management, forecasting hierarchies, approval workflows, an admin certification — priced and designed for a company with a RevOps team.

If you're one person, or a team of three, you get pushed toward the enterprise tier and then pay in two currencies: money and time.

Why big CRMs feel clunky to small teams

  • They're priced for procurement. Per-seat pricing that only pencils out at volume, with the features you actually want gated two tiers up.
  • They're designed for admins, not users. Configurable everything means someone has to configure it. That someone is you, on a Sunday.
  • They optimize for reporting, not doing. Required fields exist so the dashboard is clean — which means the person entering data is working for the dashboard.
  • They're heavy where you're light. Six clicks to log a call is fine when logging calls is your job. It's fatal when logging calls is the thing between you and your actual job.

Powerful doesn't have to mean heavy

Forward keeps the capabilities that matter to an operator and throws out the ceremony around them:

  • Real pipelines. Multiple drag-and-drop kanban boards with your own stage names, deal values, and archiving — without a setup wizard.
  • Inbox sync. Connect Outlook and email logs itself to the right contact, in real time. AI reads it and offers one-tap actions you approve or skip.
  • AI Notepad. Plain-English capture that becomes contacts, deals, and dated tasks.
  • An assistant that can act. Ask it to update a deal, create a follow-up, or find what you quoted — it reads back what it understood before it does anything.
  • Mobile that's genuinely usable. Installs as an app, works one-thumbed, captures from a job site.

What's deliberately missing: forecasting hierarchies, lead-scoring committees, approval chains, custom-object modeling. Not because they're bad — because they're the weight that makes the other tools feel like work.

Affordable, honestly

Forward is a flat monthly price with a 14-day free trial and no card required to start. No per-seat tax for a two-person shop, no implementation fee, no annual contract to escape. Current numbers live on the pricing page, and we keep a side-by-side against the usual suspects on the comparison page.

The test that actually matters

Forget feature grids for a second. Ask: could I log a real call in under a minute, on my phone, without thinking? If yes, you'll use it for years. If no, no amount of enterprise capability will save it — you'll be back on sticky notes by month two.

The live demo is a fully loaded workspace with contacts, pipelines, and notes already in it. Run that test yourself before you sign up for anything.
